Investigative Psychiatry provides enhanced services to legal, law enforcement and forensic departments only by special arrangements. The site is mainly a repository of educational materials. No one can engage anyone for services from this site.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://investigativepsychiatry.com. We are nobody.
How is the site funded?
The site is funded only by a single owner. No one else contributes. No donations are taken from anyone. No money is made in the background from any form of sponsorship, advertising or selling of data. That should cover the range of ‘paranoid concerns’.
What are you selling?
Nothing. Nothing on this site is for sale or is involved in any sort of sale. The owner has sufficient funds to run the site for many years and need not sell anything.
Who is the owner?
The owner is a UK trained consultant forensic psychiatrist on the Specialist Register at the General Medical Council – and recognised as a trainer. The owner carries the screenname: ‘TheEditor‘. The owner is known to several people. The owner does not require publicity or recognition and thus remains anonymous on the site.
What services are offered?
None. There is mention of expert witness engagement but that is does not happen via this website or any other.
The owner is expert witness trained four times over and attends updates on expert witness matters for CPD. The owner rejects 90-odd percent of all instruction simply because so many are dodgy i.e. in breach of the Civil and Criminal Procedure rules. In addition most instructions are of poor quality. The owner does not haggle with Legal Services over fees.
Why are all the posts made by TheEditor?
No one else is interested in contributing. Furthermore no one TheEditor has encountered is IT savvy enough to use web-technology to post articles on this site – and TheEditor demands too high standards.
Why is there annoying Terms & Conditions and disclaimer?
Because the owner knows the power of STUPIDITY. Whilst the owner is sorry about this, it is about the owner protecting himself from stupid people i.e. the types who need to be ‘advised’ on a carton of milk that, “This product contains milk.”
